& MANAGEMENT Founded in 1948 by Sam Keable and Bob Graham, Keables Pty Ltd is Victoria’s largest independent specialist bolt & nut fastener distributor. Sam’s son Ian Keable & Bob’s son Ian Graham ran the business together for 40 years. Current owners and Joint Managing Directors, Mark & Campbell Graham, purchased the business from Ian Keable & Ian Graham in September 2000. Mark Graham holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil). Prior to joining the company Mark worked in design engineering and project management roles. Keables is a very “hands on” organisation with Mark directing internal operations and external logistics in order to ensure commitments to customers are constantly met. Mark continues the Keables tradition of ensuring our customer service is of the highest level, in addition to having accumulated a wealth of technical know how & experience in all fastener related areas. In fact, Mark's technical and practical bolt, nut & other fastener product knowledge, would be matched by few in the fastener industry. Large customer management, tenders and quotations for engineering & construction projects requiring a significant volume of bolt, nut & other fastener input, demand much of his attention. Campbell Graham (CPA) holds a Bachelor of Economics and Graduate Diploma in Accounting. Previous employment saw Campbell in various financial and accounting positions including overseas. Together with working closely with Mark in all facets of the business, Campbell has specific responsibility for Keables bolt, nut & other fastener product import requirements. Additionally, he meets the challenge of ensuring Keables P/L maintains its traditionally strong focus on financially responsible growth. The role of Company Secretary where he attends to all legal and compliance issues, in addition to managing human resource responsibilities, also comes within his set of responsibilities. Sales Director Gary Richardson, with over 25 years fastener industry service, has few peers when it comes to knowledge of products, materials and finishes. The combined knowledge of Gary Richardson and Mark Graham, means that the Keables team is second to none when it comes to expertise in every sphere of bolts, nuts, screws washers, and other fastener product, both standard and non standard. In addition to personally servicing many highly valued accounts, Gary is deeply involved in tenders and quotations and plays a vital part in ensuring that commitments and promises to customers are reliably achieved. Noel May holds the position of Quality & Marketing Manager, including responsibility for fastener technical services. He has 40 + years fastener industry experience both as an employee and in self employment roles. Noel has worked in senior marketing and sales management roles in both the manufacturing and distribution levels of the bolt nut industry. As a director of his own business he worked with the fastener distribution industry to provide product training, technical manuals and quality systems consulting. His depth of knowledge when it comes to all matters technical in the world of bolts and nuts would be matched by few others throughout Australia.
